Meet Our Anti-Colonial and Abolitionist Online Therapists

At Phoenix Rising, healing is not separated from history or community.

Our therapists practice through an anti-colonial, abolitionist, and disability justice lens, recognizing that distress often emerges as an intelligent response to oppression, not a personal flaw.

We name how colonization, racism, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia, classism, and carceral systems shape mental health. Our care centers Black, Brown, Indigenous, immigrant, queer, trans, and neurodivergent wisdom, drawing from both lived experience and decolonial clinical frameworks.

Each session is collective, consent-based, and attuned to your body and context. We do not rush or prescribe one version of healing, we walk beside you, creating space for dignity, safety, and self-determination to take root.
