About Katrina

I was brought to clinical work because I derive joy from celebrating others and helping them accomplish the goals they didn’t think were possible. I believe in holding space for discomfort, and in the idea that we are not just the things that happen to us, but who we choose to become in spite of them. For me, healing begins where judgment ends and hope returns — a place where you no longer have to carry life’s burdens alone.

What I love most about my work is being able to educate and support my clients through their healing journey. Outside of session, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, staying active, and being a plant mama.

Why I Do This Work

Healing begins where judgment ends, hope returns, and you no longer have to carry life's burdens alone.

- Katrina Williams

My Approach in Practice

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment-based interventions, and trauma-informed care to help clients build practical skills and lasting change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop greater self-awareness. Together, we'll work toward meaningful growth, resilience, and a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

What Clients Often Come to Me For

People often reach out when life feels heavy, layered, or difficult to put into words.

Navigating identity and life transitions

Exploring who they are amid family, cultural, or societal expectations.

Healing from religious or spiritual trauma

Untangling harmful teachings from their own values and beliefs.

Working through parenting and family conflict

Including parent anxiety, maternal mental health, and perinatal mental health.

Building or strengthening relationships

Through couples counseling, premarital counseling, and work on communication and attachment.

Processing grief, burnout, or depression

Looking to rebuild self-esteem and a sense of stability.

I provide a judgment-free environment with space for humor, opportunities to grow, and the freedom to be human without the pressure of society. I like to make therapy as easy as possible, to not feel like a chore, but to also provide relief and healing.
