ABOUT ME

I’m Li (she/her) - a Master’s Clinical Social Work Intern from Aurora University.

In the therapy room, I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and supportive space where healing and growth can take root. I work with adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, neurodivergence, and anxiety.

My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, guided by systems theory and an anti-oppression lens. I also draw from motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support you in finding meaningful strategies for change while honoring your lived experience. My lived experience as an autistic individual also informs my modalities, and I am always open to making sure we are on the same platform together.

At the heart of my practice is a belief that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, where you bring your story, and together we work toward the life you want to build.

I’m grateful to be on this journey with you, and I’m supported every step of the way by my clinical supervisor, Andrea Thompson,, LICSW (she/her), who oversees my professional growth and practice.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path.
