Queering
Self-Actualization
What does it mean to become who you are when the maps were never drawn for you?
Queering Self-Actualization is a facilitated therapy and processing group for LGBTQ+ adults who want space to explore identity, healing, and growth outside of traditional frameworks.
Many of us were given narrow definitions of what it means to grow, to succeed, or to become whole. This group makes room to question those ideas, to sit with what does not fit, and to move toward something that feels more honest.
Each session combines guided conversation with experiential practices such as reflection, somatic awareness, expressive work, and optional tools like tarot or dream exploration.
You do not need any prior experience. Just a willingness to show up and explore.

Cost (Community Sliding Scale)
This group uses a community sliding scale.
The intention is to make care accessible while also sustaining the clinicians who prepare for and hold this space.
Rather than a fixed price, we invite you to choose a rate based on your current relationship to money, access, and support.
We do not require proof of income or financial status.
This model is based on trust. We trust you to choose the tier that reflects your current reality, with care for yourself and for the community.
Reduced Rate
40 per session (240 total)
This rate is for those who may be experiencing financial strain or limited access to resources.
You might choose this tier if:
You are a student, unemployed, or underemployed
You are carrying significant debt or financial obligations
You rely on financial support from others or shared resources
You have little to no savings or financial safety net
Paying at a higher tier would create stress or instability
Sustaining Rate
70 per session (420 total)
This rate reflects a balanced exchange and helps sustain the group.
You might choose this tier if:
You have stable income and can meet your basic needs
You have some financial flexibility, even if budgeting is still important
You are able to pay for services like therapy, classes, or wellness support occasionally
This price feels manageable without significant financial strain
Community Support Rate
90 per session (540 total)
This rate helps support lower-cost spots for others and contributes to the long-term sustainability of the group.
You might choose this tier if:
You have a stable or higher income
You have access to savings, assets, or financial support
You own property, investments, or have generational financial support
You are able to spend on non-essential items or services with relative ease
Paying at this level does not impact your overall financial stability
Choosing this tier directly supports access for someone else.
Payment is collected upfront to secure your space and allow for group planning and preparation.
If paying upfront would be difficult, you are welcome to reach out. We will try to work with you where possible.
This model is rooted in trust, mutual care, and collective responsibility, not verification or gatekeeping.
What We Will Explore
Session 1
The Map Was Never Made for Us
We begin by looking at the ideas of growth, success, and healing many of us were given. Which parts have shaped you, and which parts have never quite fit?
Session 2
Surviving Is Not the Opposite of Thriving
We explore how trauma and survival live in the body and in our choices. Together, we question the idea that healing follows a straight path.
Session 3
Identity as Self-Creation
Gender and sexuality are not fixed destinations. This session makes space to explore identity as something lived, shaped, and continually evolving.
Session 4
Reclaiming the Sacred
For those who have experienced harm or exclusion, we open space to reconsider what spirituality or meaning can look like now, on your own terms.
Session 5
The Dream of the Self
We turn toward imagination, desire, and inner imagery as a way of understanding what you long for and who you are becoming.
Session 6
Becoming on Your Own Terms
We reflect on what has shifted, what you are carrying forward, and how you want to continue this process beyond the group.
Important NotesSome sessions may include reflective practices such as tarot or dream exploration. These are used as tools for reflection, not belief systems you are required to adopt.
You are always invited to participate in ways that feel safe and aligned.
