ABOUT ME
Ana (she/her/ella) is a proud Dominican therapist-in-training from Lawrence, MA, and a Master of Social Work candidate at Simmons University. Ana’s roots and lived experience shape her practice with empathy, cultural humility, and deep respect for every person’s unique journey. She brings both personal wisdom and developing clinical skills to supporting clients navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism, and dyslexia—always meeting each person with genuine care and without judgment.
Ana is deeply committed to affirming and supporting LGBT individuals and couples. She creates a calm, welcoming space where all identities, relationships, and family structures are seen, valued, and celebrated. Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and client-centered: you are the expert on your own life, and Ana is here to listen deeply, honor your story, and walk alongside you at your pace. Whether working with individuals or couples, Ana is sensitive to the unique experiences of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, including navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and the impact of societal stigma.
Ana works to build practical, culturally-attuned supports for daily life, while also holding space to explore identity, community, and the moments that shape who you are. She believes that healing is nurtured in moments of honesty, humor, reflection, and authentic connection.
Ana’s professional development and clinical work are supported by the thoughtful supervision of Anim Aweh, LICSW (she/her), ensuring ethical, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care. Ana is dedicated to fostering an environment where all people—especially those from historically excluded communities—can show up fully, be heard, and feel affirmed.
