ABOUT ME

Lillie, LCSW, CMHT, is a trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapist who supports youth, young adults, and families with a warm, direct, and affirming style grounded in cultural humility and social justice. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Mental Health Therapist, she helps clients heal from trauma, build practical life skills, and strengthen relationships in ways that honor identity and lived experience.

Lillie earned her Master of Social Work from Jackson State University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Sociology from Mississippi College. She has advanced training in trauma-informed care, youth and family therapy, and substance use recovery.

Her work centers youth and young adults navigating life transitions, identity exploration, school stress, and family conflict, as well as families seeking in-home or virtual support to improve communication and daily routines. Clinical specialties include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction recovery, and family systems challenges. She tailors care using evidence-based methods such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, the Community Reinforcement Approach, mindfulness and grounding techniques, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy.

Lillie meets clients where they are—at home or online—so skills are practiced in real time. Clients often report calmer homes, improved focus and routines, reduced anxiety and depression, safer coping strategies, and a therapy space where identity, culture, and history are respected. She is deeply committed to accessible, judgment-free, culturally grounded care, with a special dedication to those historically pushed out of mental health services.
